Verified Seller Program
Our trust badge recognises sellers with a proven track record. Here’s how it works and how to earn it.
Last updated: July 14, 2026
The verified badge is a small blue checkmark next to a seller’s name. It signals that the seller has a history of honest, reliable transactions on the platform. For buyers, it’s a quick way to spot sellers who are less likely to cause problems. For sellers, it’s one of the most effective ways to win trust and close more sales.
What the badge means
A verified seller has met objective thresholds set by us. The badge is not a guarantee that every future transaction will be perfect, but it does mean the seller has consistently delivered as promised. The badge is reviewed regularly and can be revoked if a seller’s behaviour changes.
How to qualify
To be considered for the verified badge, a seller must:
- Have completed at least 10 successful sales on the platform.
- Maintain an average rating of 4.5 stars or higher across all reviews.
- Keep a dispute rate below 5% of completed orders, and resolve any disputes that do arise in good faith.
- Have no active suspensions or serious policy violations in the past 12 months.
- Complete identity verification — submitting government-issued ID so we can confirm the seller is who they claim to be. This information is stored securely and never shown publicly.
Once these thresholds are met, sellers can apply from their dashboard. Our team reviews applications within 5 business days.
Benefits of being verified
- The badge — a visible trust signal on your profile and every listing.
- Higher placement — verified listings are prioritised in search and category results when other factors are similar.
- Higher withdrawal limits — verified sellers can withdraw larger amounts, useful for high-value sales.
- Faster payouts — withdrawals are prioritised in the processing queue.
- Priority support — verified sellers get faster responses from our team.
How the badge can be lost
Verification is not permanent. A seller can lose the badge if:
- Their average rating drops below 4.0 stars.
- Their dispute rate rises above 5% over a rolling 90-day window.
- They receive a serious policy violation, such as selling a stolen account or attempting to defraud a buyer.
- They become inactive (no completed sales) for more than 90 days.
If the badge is removed, sellers can requalify once they again meet the thresholds and maintain them for 30 days.
Identity verification — what and why
As part of verification, we ask for a government-issued ID. This helps us:
- Confirm that the seller is a real person and at least 18 years old.
- Deter fraud — scammers are far less likely to join a platform that verifies identity.
- Comply with anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer regulations.
The document is stored encrypted and accessible only to authorised staff. We do not share it with other users or sell it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle sensitive data.
