Seller Guide
Everything you need to list, sell, and get paid — explained step by step.
Last updated: July 14, 2026
Selling a social media account should be straightforward. This guide walks through the whole process, from deciding what to sell to receiving your payout. Whether you’re selling your first account or your fiftieth, the steps are the same.
Step 1 — Make sure you can sell this account
Before listing, confirm that:
- You own the account or have clear legal authority to transfer it.
- The account is in good standing with its platform (no active strikes or suspensions).
- You can hand over the email and recovery details tied to the account.
- The platform’s terms permit the transfer. Some platforms restrict account sales; it is your responsibility to know the rules that apply.
Selling hacked, stolen, or fraudulently obtained accounts is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent suspension. See our Terms of Service.
Step 2 — Create your listing
Head to your seller dashboard and choose Create Listing. You’ll go through a short three-step form:
- Basics — pick the platform (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), a category, and a clear, honest title.
- Details — add follower count, engagement rate, monetisation status, country, and a description. Accuracy here protects you in disputes and builds buyer trust.
- Pricing — set your price. Research similar listings to stay competitive.
Once submitted, your listing goes live immediately and appears in search and category pages.
Step 3 — Price it well
Pricing an account is part art, part data. A few things move the needle:
- Audience quality — real, engaged followers are worth far more than inactive or bot accounts.
- Niche — finance, tech, and gaming audiences typically command higher prices than generic content.
- Monetisation — an account already earning revenue is easier to value and usually sells faster.
- Platform — some platforms retain accounts better than others after a transfer, which affects long-term value.
When in doubt, start slightly high and adjust based on interest. Listings with no views after a week usually need a price cut or better photos and description.
Step 4 — Communicate with buyers
Buyers often have questions before they commit. Our built-in chat lets you reply quickly without sharing personal contact details.
- Respond within a few hours. Fast replies noticeably increase conversion.
- Be honest about any issues with the account. Surprises after the sale lead to disputes and bad reviews.
- Keep all communication on the platform. Moving deals off-platform to avoid fees is not allowed and removes your escrow protection.
Step 5 — Complete the sale
When a buyer places an order, funds go into escrow. Your job now is to transfer the account cleanly:
- Send the buyer the username, password, and the email and recovery details tied to the account.
- Tell the buyer to change the password and recovery email right away — this protects them and proves the transfer happened.
- Use the chat to confirm delivery. A short paper trail helps if a dispute opens.
Once the buyer confirms, escrow releases and your earnings (minus the 8% platform fee) land in your wallet.
Step 6 — Get paid
From your wallet, go to Withdraw and choose your method:
- Bank transfer — 1–3 business days.
- PayPal — usually within 24 hours.
- USDT (BEP20) — typically a few hours.
The minimum withdrawal is $50. We do not charge a withdrawal fee, though your bank or wallet provider might. See our Pricing & Fees page for full details.
Tips for a strong seller reputation
- Be accurate. Exaggerated stats lead to disputes. Real numbers build repeat buyers.
- Ship fast. Transfer accounts promptly after an order. Speed is one of the biggest factors in positive reviews.
- Ask for reviews. After a smooth sale, politely ask happy buyers to leave a review. Never offer payment for reviews, though — that violates our rules.
- Get verified. Once you hit our thresholds, apply for the Verified Seller Program for a trust badge that boosts conversions.
